‘SCREAMWORKS: Album news straight from Ville, himself

Thanks to Euro Rock Radio, CelticAngel and obviously to Ville Valo we have the latest news about HIM.
Ville was in Helsinki and answered to some questions about the new album.

Ville has said several songs are ready, they have done demos. HIM will start recording a new album in Los Angeles in August with producer Matt Squire. Matt has produced for bands like The Used, All Time Low, Panic at the Disco & 3OH!3, to name a few.

The working title is ‘SCREAMWORKS: Love in Theory and Practice’.
That title should reflect the album's idea, it will be more direct and heavy, with more guitars and less keyboards but pop, more 80's style, according to Ville, a mix between Right Here In My Arms, Rip Out The Wings Of A Butterfly and The Funeral Of Hearts.
The tentative release date by Warner Records worldwide is Valentine’s Day 2010.

Ville has also said they are trying for 15 songs on the new album.

No shows will be played during the summer because they have to work hard on the album.
