More details about the Rock Band Contest/ XBOX Live

You probably already know most of the information about the contest, but here it is again, just in case:

HIM is asking it’s fans from around the world to help them set the record for the largest global Rock Band performance in history. Just make a video of yourself performing "Heartkiller" on Rock Band and upload it to the HIM’s YouTube Channel and tag the video “Official HIM Rock Band Entry” on March 25th at exactly 10 p.m. ET and you will be entered into an official contest in which the members of HIM will choose the Top 5 best performance videos. The band are asking fans to film their performances and post them at the same time in order to set the world record for the largest global Rock Band performance ever!"

It seems the guys may be playing XBOX live and you can join them if you have a Gold Account. Follow the link and also visit the official Heartagram site to find out more.

Third show added for New York & a show added for Atlantic City, N.J.

It has been confirmed at Heartagram.com that a third show has been added for 9, May, 2010 at The Fillmore, at Irving Plaza in New York. Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 12:00 p.m. EST through Live Nation. The May 7th and 8th shows have sold out.

Also, on May 6, 2010, HIM will be the at House of Blues, Atlantic City, New Jersey. No ticket info. as of yet. Keep an eye on Heartagram.com for more details which should come soon.

Thanks to Daniel Lioneye's Twitter, posted on On 3, Mar., we're informed that HIM have filmed a new video in Melbourne, Australia:

It's currently unknown if it will be a live video footage.

And... according to one site, the video may be for "Scared To Death", which the site claims will be the next single from 'Screamworks', with the release date of March 29, 2010.

Whether or not 'Scared To Death' will be the next single, I'm not sure. As of the posting of this blog, it had not yet been confirmed at Heartagram.com, so please keep that in mind.

Daniel Lioneye Official Press Release on new album - VOL. II

Daniel Lioneye, the side project from members of HIM, is gearing up to release VOL. II on April 27th on The End Records (Warner in Finland). Consisting of Linde (HIM) on guitars, bass and vocals, Burton (HIM) on keyboards and Bolton (Enochian Crescent) on drums, the band has always embraced breaking boundaries and taking new directions, which is exactly what they did on their sophomore release. ....

Concert Review: HIM @ The Hi-Fi, Melbourne (25/02/10)

Here's a snippet:

There are few objects of desire in rock today that rival Ville Valo. His raw ability to turn otherwise gracious and genteel young ladies into a tumbling mass of fawning, squealing sycophants makes him the envy of many a man.

Exactly how he manages to ravish any woman who possesses a penchant for guitars is beyond me. The dwarfish, gangling Finn is hardly your typical pinup. His appearance has ranged from a greasy makeup-mishap from a vampire film set, to his more recent extra-from-a-Dickens-dramatisation look. His manner, too, is atypical – mild and surprisingly unrockstar-ish, it would seem.

Daniel Lioneye, the Finnish band featuring HIM members Mikko "Linde" Lindström on guitar, bass and vocals and Janne "Burton" Puurtinen on keyboards alongside Black Vomit Bolton (ENOCHIAN CRESCENT) on drums, will release its new album, "Vol. II", in North America on April 27 via The End Records.
